para- : at or to one side of, beside, next to, beyond (from gr. para)
-site : position, situation, location, state (from lat. situs)
The para-sites are site-specific installations deeply informed by the place they inhabit that transform the environment perceptually.
They build up spatial configurations in time, parallel to the real architecture, only suggested to the observer through three-dimensional drawings in motion made of video-projected light and shadow.
The result is an overlap of the already existing space and the one generated by the observer’s perception.
